San Luis

As you turn inland from the Bay Area on your trek back to Southern California, the number of kitschy fruit stands you pass seems to increase in measure with the temperature. The heat of the sun is ever present as you progress inland, and the increasing elevation doesn't provide any break from the heat. As the winding road descends, the view breaks onto a gleaming blue expanse. The San Luis reservoir never fails to provide a stunning sight from CA-152. Fortunately, there's a car park area off the side of the road. Sara and I stopped to take a look around (as long as the heat would permit). Shot on Nikon D3300.
